An Artist's Respite

A makeover to one of my previous builds- "Midnight Respite". I have a thing with going back and re-doing houses, lol! It's nice to update old spaces and spruce them up a bit!

The owner still wanted Woad Blue incorporated, so I kept the detailing on the wall. Instead, I focused on making both theliving room and bedroom more custom by making unique furniture items to give it a cozy, but modern feel. I also updated the windows and was careful to integrate more greenery so that it feels more like a house that would be in Gridania.
Although I wanted to add more details to the windows and seating area, I am happy I was able to make both floors flow more seamlessly.

The downstairs sleeping quarters- The owner wanted a more natural feel down here. More "worn in", seeing as this is where he paints and does all his late night work
