Oceanside-themed Small Estate

I was lucky enough to score this prime beachfront property in patch 3.3, when wards 9 through 12 were introduced. This is my own personal house, so I can't really say that my inspiration came from a lofty unifying concept, like I do when I design for someone else. I just love beaches, and this is my own virtual sanctuary. I have many times sat inside for long periods of time playing the Ambient Rainfall or Babbling Brook orchestrion roll, vibing and relaxing along to the peaceful sounds. One reason to make copious use of anything with water effects.

Even better is sitting in the front yard, or on the water front chairs, or maybe on a rock in the middle of the water, enjoying the sound of the ocean waves, and watching the virtual sun set, rise, and set again. Nothing beats the real beach, but any time one isn't nearby, which is often, this is the next best thing <3

I'm currently obsessing over how to make my Island Sanctuary courtyard screenshot-worthy at least, but in the meantime, I'm thinking about how I might use the new outdoor furniture and housing items at my small estate (although I do currently love it just the way it is).
