My client wanted a cabin that was similar to my old cabin build and especially liked the northern lights view that was in it. So, I tried to expand on that build a little more. Add more textures, rather than just have it just be the log walls. So I included more wood trims and the popcorn wall textures. I wanted to include the stained glass to it, so I added the new housing item to it. That also helped with adding sunlight to the windows, since you can't just hide a window directly behind it due to it snapping to the alpine walls used as the windows base. I also wanted to make sure to add some greenery to the windows. Since I wanted to use the greenery as a way to connect the two floors together.
The upstairs ended up looking a lot more studious than I was expecting, but it adds a very calming feel to it so I'm rather fond of the way it looks.

The downstairs went through many changes. I didn't think about it's composition very much when I was doing the upstairs, so I had limited space to work with. I knew the northernlights view needed to be included so I thought an open window would be nice. Then since my client is a lalafell, I used that as an opportunity to do a small attic with a sitting space. So that ended up being my base for the bedroom. I knew I wanted a small window in the attic area, so I ended up going with a large window that would also be behind the bed. I was originally going to make the nature window smaller, but then decided to make it long to add more depth to it. Which now feels like a good choice with the northern lights being at the end of it. I really like how the downstairs came out, even though it was the least planned area. It reminds me of something you'd see in a Life is Strange game.
