This build was inspired by the Russian art movement known as Constructivism. It is an art form that aims to reflect modern industrial society and the urban lifestyle. It features geometric design combined with bright colours which would later influence the De Stijl and Bauhaus style of design.

I really enjoy making designs with clean lines and bold colours, both of which are embraced in this style. The relatively smooth and sleek unadorned wood is once again vastly different from the extremely ornate style of my builds before. This build focuses on mostly orange, yellow, and red shades on a dark grey backdrop. The entrance is dark and masculine, but as you travel back, the grey lightens up until it fades into the neutral cream-white bathroom. I balanced the asymmetry in the design surrounding the TV in the living room with the shape of the raised bedroom area. Each functional area in the house flows into the next and I wanted the colours to reflect that. The art installation above the bed is also in the Suprematist/Constructivist style.
