“Her voice is full of money,” he said suddenly. That was it. I’d never understood before. It was full of money—that was the inexhaustible charm that rose and fell in it, the jingle of it, the cymbals’ song of it.

My client wanted something themed white marble and gold and when I think of white marble and gold, my mind flits to the image of Daisy Buchanan reclining in this bright and sunny room filled with billowing curtains with the sunlight reflected in her golden blonde hair.

I drew a lot of inspiration from the art deco buildings of New York and I wanted to recreate this feeling of immense wealth and luxury in this build; like if I were to visit this place in real life, I would feel poor and uncivilized or something and the people who lived here would also speak with voices full of money.

The smoking room was added last as sort of a way to get to the FC workshop and FC chambers and I had to cut the chandelier that I had wanted to do, but I think it was worth it in the end!
