Renovated Machiya
This build was inspired by some videos I watched while doing research on my trip to Kyoto. I fell in love with the architecture and the history and wanted to recreate it in my house.

I went with an open floor plan for this area. The garden I wanted to be viewed from both the living area and the eating area so I left it open.

I wanted to keep the original wood for the upstairs bathroom and bedroom. I wanted to keep a nature theme and had the bathtub overlooking the garden.
