Aspen
I was commissioned for a mountain lodge with autumn/winter coziness and given free rein for everything else. This lodge is inspired by various real ski/mountain lodges, especially ones located in the world-famous mountain town of Aspen, Colorado. The suite includes 1.5 bedrooms (including a bed above a mini-loft), an entryway with glass doors, and a bathroom with a butcher-block style vanity and bath. I also had the pleasure of styling the garden, which is a cozy campsite in autumn.
This was refreshing to build, as it's more rustic than my usual style! I also used mainly natural windows throughout, allowing me more slots to devote to architecture.
